Press Release – NEW Business Booster!

Local business coach Clare Whalley of Meta4 Coaching has had a record number of new businesses sign up during 2020!

We have seen a flurry of new businesses start up during the pandemic, and with this year (2021) Birmingham being crowned regional start-up capital for the seventh year is even more encouraging to see that growth set to continue. And with a surge of signups of creatives, from interior designers and copywriting agencies through to illustrators and video production companies, it just goes to show the creative sector is still the fastest growing industry.

“The pandemic has seen many businesses use their ingenuity and creativity to pivot into new ways of working and connecting with their customers. It has also been a time of reflection and opportunity for many people as change has been forced upon them with many considering how to best use their talents to create businesses. Our region is a hotbed of creativity and there are some incredible opportunities coming up that will give us a national and global platform to showcase our talent. There is a wealth of support, guidance, and community available to support you on your business journey.

David Tomalin Sector Specialist Creative Industries, Birmingham City University and GBSLEP Growth Hub. “

“It’s the best part of my role as a coach to see people with a business idea and how it comes to life with the right support and structure.” Clare Whalley – Meta4 Owner

Tine came to me 12 months ago and wanted to kickstart her nutrition business, we worked together to create a brand, a website and business processes to attract the right clientele and she now has a healthy young business ready to grow!

Anita – fellow Chamber member – left her Marketing Manager job at the height of the pandemic to start her Marketing & Copywriting businesses, we’ve been working together for just over 6 months and she is already considering her next growth steps as her agency is almost full of ideal clients.

“It’s hugely encouraging to see how businesses can start in tough times and that new business ventures are not just surviving but thriving!  We all need to feel inspired and it’s great to read these success stories.” Katie Hale, Honorary Chair, Sutton Coldfield Chamber
